OGDENSBURG -- Ogdensburg police say they responded to a residence on the 800 block of Congress Street early this morning for a report of shots fired.
There is no danger to the public at this time, police say.
According to police, the department has also been in communication with Ogdensburg Free Academy officials and have determined that there is also no threat to the school.
Police say no injuries occurred, though the investigation is active and ongoing.
Police have asked the public to stay clear of the 1100 block of Congress Street as police are actively working a connected scene at the location.
Ogdensburg PD is being assisted by the Sheriff's Office, NYSP and the Department of Homeland Security.
