Ogdensburg Free Academy Key Club’s Winter Talent Show set for Friday night

OGDENSBURG –The Ogdensburg Free Academy Key Club’s Winter Talent Show will feature 14 performers in 12 acts on Friday, Jan. 5, at 6 p.m. at the George Hall Auditorium at 1100 State Street.

Admission is $5.

“The OFA Key Club Talent Show, the longest running student-run talent show in Ogdensburg, regularly attracts some of the North Country’s most talented young people,” said Jim Reagen, Kiwanis Advisor. “This year’s show promises to be a great evening of family entertainment for people of all ages and a great way to support our community’s young people.”

Performances include:

  • Madill School third grader Abigail Bouchard who will sing “You Belong to Me” by Taylor Swift.
  • Kennedy School fifth graders Landree Kelso and Matthew Sutherland will play guitar and sing “Save Me.”
  • Kennedy School fifth grader Sydney Garno who will dance to “A Thousand Years.”
  • Madill School 5th graders Emerson Lowry and Colbie Frank who will sing “Lover” by Taylor Swift.
  • OFA Middle School 7th grader Sophie Gemmill will sing the “World’s Smallest Violin.”
  • OFA Middle School 7th grader Jadalyn Breen will sing “Heart Attack” by Demi Lovato.
  • Lisbon Central School 8th grader Alexander Dettmer will play “Sullied Grace” on the piano.
  • OFA Middle School 8th grader Taylor Richer will sing “From the Start.”
  • OFA Middle School 8th grader Olivia Sias  will sing a special selection.
  • OFA Sophomore Jackson Duprey will play “Bouree on the Board” by Kristofer Maddigan on the Viberaphone.  
  • OFA 11th grader Karlos Lawrence will dance to  “Can’t Stop This Feeling.”
  • OFA 10th grader Logan Moran will sing and play guitar “Everlong” by the Foo Fighters.

“For 30 years, the OFA Key Club’s Talent Show has provided opportunities for our community’s young people to gain valuable experience performing in public and in the performing arts,” said OFA Faculty Advisor Ruth Anne Barkley. The Key Club would like to especially thank Bob Ladouceur, our lighting and sound director and the OFA Audio Visual Club for helping us to present this show.”
