CANTON -- Another Sheriff's Deputy is joining the ranks following his graduation from the police academy.
Deputy Patrick Smith recently graduated from the David Sullivan St. Lawrence County Law Enforcement Academy.
According to the Sheriff's Office, Deputy Smith will now begin his field training, where he will learn about the specifics of the job and continue to serve the community.
"Join us in wishing Deputy Smith all the best as he embarks on this new chapter in his law enforcement career," the Sheriff's Office wrote on Facebook.
