New restaurant in Canton now taking reservations for Thursday opening

CANTON – Canton’s newest restaurant, 11 West, is now accepting reservations for a Thursday night opening, according to a Facebook post.

Located at the former Frazer Motors site, 6182 US Hwy. 11, the restaurant offers a diverse menu of appetizers, soups and salads, entrees, sandwiches, burgers, and a four-item children’s menu.

The building is owned by Michael Frazer. Les Baker is the owner and operator of the restaurant. Baker, a local contractor, is the owner of Baker’s Sizzling Grill in Colton.

The new establishment is expected to employ 20 to 25 full and part-time employees.

“Our reservation system has been added to our facebook page. We are accepting reservations for this Thursday and 30 days out going forward. Our dinner service will be by reservation only for the first few months. While you're welcome to try your luck and get seated at the bar if you choose to walk in, the only way to guarantee a spot is by making a reservation. We will do our best to accommodate walk-ins should availability allow. Lunch will be available for walk in, however, we strongly suggest making a reservation as well. Entrees include grilled Atlantic salmon, Seafood Thermidor, Chicken Francaise, fish and chips, chicken marsala, chicken bucatini pasta, and a grilled ribeye. Interested in a sandwich or burger (served with fries)  your choices include a buttermilk fried chicken sandwich, French dip, grilled chicken sandwich, Italian hero, 11 West burger, All-American burger, and Western burger.

Appetizers are crispy calamari, Brussel sprouts, shrimp cocktail, an everything spiced pretzel, and scallop and belly. Soups are French onion and manhattan clam chowder. Salads include Caesar, the Wedge, Adirondack, and house side salad.

The children’s menu featured a cheese flatbread pizza, grilled cheese, cheeseburger, and chicken tenders.

Patrons can order drinks from a full bar.
