DEKALB JUNCTION -- Join the DeKalb Historical Association for music and refreshment to celebrate the launch of Volume 2 of The De Kalb Historical Reader August 17 from 2-4 at the Meetinghouse Museum, 696 E. DeKalb Rd. The book, like volume 1, is a collection of researched articles about people, places and events in the town. From accounts of a brutal murder, to our citizen who was a prisoner of war, to the year with no summer, to the fire that damaged the town, the book tells these and other high points in history.
Selections will be read to share some of the excitement of the pages, Paul Siskind’s group, the Any Music Singers, will provide entertainment and refreshment will be served.
