Mother and son cast ballots

Larry Blakemore Jr. and his mother, Juanita Blakemore, voted in today's election in Waddington. Their early morning commute to Potsdam included this very important stop to the firehouse in Waddington. They were excited to see many of their neighbors also exercising their civic duty. The polls are open until 9 p.m. for the public to get out and vote in a number of state, county and local contested races. Photo submitted by Juanita Blakemore.
