MORRISTOWN — Morristown Public Library is hosting a poetry workshop for kids with award-winning poet Laurinda Lind on Tuesday, July 9 at 9:30 a.m.
Youngsters will have fun coming up with very short poems about nature, summer, pets, family, or whatever else comes to mind. Try it several different ways and go home with a page full of brief poems and haiku (Japanese short-form poems).
This event is free and geared for ages 8 to 12.
