MORRISTOWN -- A senior at Morristown Central School has been named the St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce BOCES Student of the Month for April.
Walker Belile is in the Criminal Justice Program at Northwest Tech BOCES in Ogdensburg.
Jim DiSalvo, Criminal Justice Program Instructor, stated “I have had the privilege of instructing Walker Belile as a student in the Criminal Justice Program here at Northwest Tech. I can confidently attest to his excellent academic performance, dedication, and strong commitment to the field of criminal justice. Academically, Walker has excelled in the Criminal Justice Program, consistently earning high grades in his coursework. His ability to understand legal concepts and apply them in practical scenarios is truly impressive. He has shown a particular aptitude for critical thinking, problem-solving, and a deep understanding of the ethical and moral dimensions of criminal justice. Walker has also taken the initiative to engage in independent research projects, showcasing a passion for furthering his knowledge in the field. One of Walker’s most outstanding qualities is his unwavering commitment to the principles of justice, fairness, and the rule of law. He possesses the integrity and ethical foundation necessary to pursue a career in criminal justice or the military field successfully. Walker is planning on attending Norwich University to study Criminal Justice under the Army ROTC Program. He then plans on commissioning into the United States Army.”
Walker Belile received a Certificate of Achievement from BOCES and a plaque from the Ogdensburg Community office.
