MASSENA -- The eight-hour About Boating Safely course will be given twice in May by the Massena-based U. S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 092-01-01 at the Nicandri Nature Center.
The first is set for Wednesday and Thursday, May 1 and 2, and the second is on Wednesday and Thursday, May 22 and 23. All classes are from 5 to 9 p.m. To be certified, attendees must be there for a whole two-day course. Upon completion a boating safety certificate will be issued. The cost is $35 per person; a family rate is available.
