MASSENA -- State police have charged a Massena man in the theft of a boat reported missing earlier this week.
Police say Scott Bishop, 51, was charged with third-degree grand larceny and criminal mischief on June 16 after police responded to State Highway 131 in the town of Louisville for a stolen boat complaint.
Upon investigation, police say Bishop stole a white and red 2002 Stinger boat from the Massena Yacht Club.
The boat was later recovered, police say.
