Marlise A. "Marcy" Bond, 45, Massena

NORFOLK -- Funeral services for Marlise A. "Marcy" Bond, 45, a resident of Beach Street, Massena, will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024, at 1 p.m. at the Buck Funeral Home in Norfolk. 

Burial will be held in the Foxwood Memorial Park in Ogdensburg following the services. 

A Celebration of Life luncheon will be held following the burial at the Norfolk American Legion. 

Family and friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Norfolk from 10 a.m. until the time of the services. 

Mrs. Bond passed away tragically on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, in an automobile accident.

Marcy is survived by her two children, a son, Koby Bond, Norfolk and her daughter, Kaylee Bond, her spouse, Jakob Cryderman, Brasher Falls; her beloved granddaughter, Claudella Cryderman; her parents, Claude and Lois Monroe Jr., Massena; a brother, Jeremy Monroe, Massena, as well as several cherished family members, who include aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and her ex-husband, Scott Bond, who remained close to Marcy.

Born in Massena, NY on February 6, 1979, to Claude and Lois Felix Monroe Jr., Marcy attended Norwood-Norfolk Central School. 

She married Scott Bond on November 6, 1999, a marriage that later ended in divorce, but they remained close. 

Marcy worked as a Home Health Aide for several years and truly was a selfless person,  always willing to help family and friends. 

In her free time, Marcy loved to be a cosmetologist, doing hair and make-up, and she enjoyed shopping as well, but found her most enjoyment came from spending time with her family.
