OGDENSBURG -- Organizers are hoping to draw 1,000 people to the city April 27 for the annual Indoor Yard Sale at the Lockwood Civic Center.
The event is sponsored by the Ogdensburg Seaway Festival Committee and will help offset costs of fireworks and other events planned this summer.
Last year the event drew 700-800 people came through, but organizers are hoping this year will be even bigger.
Organizer Chris Lalone said more than 80 vendors have signed up and 100 are expected. He said there is still limited room for vendors interested in renting booths, but they are going quickly.
The event will feature music from Slic Rick and Timeless events and Pig and Moo will be offering BBQ concessions.
The first 250 visitors will receive bags provided by St Lawrence Federal Credit Union, Lowes, NBT Bank, Community Bank and North Country Savings Bank. A $2 donation will be accepted at the door.
The event will run from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
