POTSDAM – Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley will be holding a free five-week grief support group in Potsdam called Navigating Grief Together. This group is for adults who are grieving any type of loss.
This group may be helpful for people whose loss happened at least three months ago. Each week, members will learn about grief, share their experiences, and support each other. Topics will include what grief can feel like, how it affects the body and emotions, ways to cope, and how to stay connected to the person who died in a healthy way.
This is not a therapy group. It is a social support group for adults who are already working through their grief.
The group will meet in person on Thursdays from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. starting June 4, at the offices of Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley (6805 US-11, Potsdam, New York 13676).
There is no need to pre-register but for more information, please call Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley at 315-265-3105.
