DEKALB -- Two Hogansburg residents were charged with various drug offenses following a traffic stop on Jan. 7.
According to the Sheriff's Office, Shane Monaghan, 33, and Marlaynna Runions, 18, were found to be in possession of 9.6 grams of cocaine and a small amount of fentanyl following a positive alert by K9 Knowlton in the vehicle. Both were charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (C Felony) and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (A Misdemeanor).
Both were arraigned in Hermon Town Court and released on their own recognizance.
