COLTON – Amateur historian Mary Jane Watson presents a history of Higley Flow  at the Friends of Higley Flow’s Fall Festival on Sept. 14 at noon. Slides of a map of the area before the dam construction and with overlay showing the difference. Interpretive paddle of Stump Bay and the Black Lagoon following the presentation for those interested in bringing their boats about 1:15-1:30 p.m. Big Spoon’s food truck on site. $20 donation for adults, $10 for teens, under 12 free, or $40 for family.
