A Heuvelton Central School senior figure skater added two medals to her collection.
Marina Perry, a twelfth grader at HCS, took her final “Gold Dance” on Jan. 20 in figure skating and passed. Then, on Feb. 2, she earned a gold medal for freestyle in figure skating at the Empire State Games in Lake Placid.
She also competed with her synchronized skating team at the Empire State Games, and they received a bronze medal.
