CANTON — It was a record year for the "Here We Go Saints" donor campaign in 2024. St. Lawrence University athletics programs benefited from donations by over 2,800 Laurentians, totaling $585,448 over the course of the campaign on September 24-25, 2024.

"We are extremely grateful for the generous support which will significantly enhance our athletic programs," said Franco Bari, Director of Intercollegiate Athletics. "These gifts will have a profound effect on our student-athlete's experiences, as they strive for competitive excellence, academic achievement and holistic development."

The record-setting funds will now go toward further further developing the infrastructure behind St. Lawrence athletic programs.

Throughout "Here We Go Saints," Barry '69 and Pat Hitchcock Phelps '69, P'96 hosted the Phelps Family Challenge, providing monetary incentives when donations reached certain milestones in both numbers and dollar amounts. The Phelps challenge helped raise an additional $70,000.

St. Lawrence programs promoted the donor drive on their social media accounts, using creative methods to get their message out and help increase the number of donations for their respective programs. In many cases, these campaigns were conducted by student-athletes.

St. Lawrence University and the Athletics Department thanks each and every donor for their participation in "Here We Go Saints," helping set new fundraising milestones.
