MASSENA — The New York Power Authority will offer solar eclipse activities for kids and families to exercise their hands and minds over spring break at the Hawkins Point Visitors Center in Massena.
The free activities will be available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., beginning April 1, and continuing through April 5.
Participants are encouraged to pre-register for the activity by calling 315-764-6679.
Children will have the opportunity to participate in eclipse- themed activities throughout the day and take home their creations.
The visitors center will also be hosting daily movies at 1 p.m. during the school break.
On Thursday, at 10 a.m., Astronomy 101 will be offered in partnership with the Nicandri Nature Center.
The Hawkins Point Visitors Center is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. The visitors center will be closed Friday, March 29.
