CANTON -- The TAUNY Center, 53 Main St., will host a series of hammered dulcimer playing classes this fall with musician and teacher Dan Duggan.
Duggan will teach hands-on workshops in Hammered Dulcimer playing and making.
It is preferred that participants in each respective category are able to attend all the sessions.
Beginners and past beginners classes will be held from 10-11:30 a.m. on Sept. 28, Oct. 26 and Nov. 16 with a workshop and performance.
Cost is $50 per person for all three dates (eight students maximum).
This program is supported in part by the Corning Incorporated Foundation.
The intermediate classes will be Sept. 28, Oct. 26 and Nov. 16 from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. and Dec. 7 from noon-1 p.m. The group will perform at TAUNY's Holiday Open House.

The class youth lap dulcimers building and playing will be held Oct. 26 from 1:30-4 p.m. for building day, and Nov. 2 and 16 from 1:30-2:30 p.m.
