The Massena Central High School Musical Theater Department will bring its musical production of the timeless classic "Grease" to the stage March 22 and 23.
Bringing the energy of the 1950s Rydell High to life, the talented students of Massena Central are set to amaze audiences at the school's auditorium, a press release from the school said.
Directed by theater teacher, Chris Lincoln, and featuring a cast and crew of over 80 students, "Grease" will for sure transport audience members back to the era of poodle skirts, leather jackets, and its unforgettable rock 'n' roll hits.
Set in the backdrop of Rydell High School, "Grease" follows the love story of Danny Zuko (played by Merrik Follet), the leader of the T-Birds, and Sandy Dumbrowski (played by Adele LaBarge), the sweet new girl in town.
As they navigate the ups and downs of teenage romance, audience goers will be swept away by the iconic songs such as "Summer Nights," "Greased
Lightnin’," and "You're the One That I Want."
