The defendant did steal a Northern Federal Credit Card and a Social Security Card from a pocket purse at 18 North Gordon Street, after an argument and threw said property into a dumpster located at Transitional Living Services.  Defendant was issued an appearance ticket for the Town of Gouverneur Court.

Arrested at 4:09 PM for Strangulation 2nd (felony) and Criminal Mischief 4th Prevent an Emergency Call. On January 27, 2024 located at 72 Park Street, the defendant was involved in a physical domestic where he is alleged to have strangled the victim by placing his right hand on the front of the victim's neck. The defendant then proceeded to take the phone out of the victim's hands so that the victim could not call the police to assist her. The defendant was arraigned at the Gouverneur Town Court and released under the supervision of probation. A no contact order of protection was placed.

On January 30, 2024 located at 72 Park Street, the defendant was involved in a physical domestic where he allegedly kicked a metal basket at the victim striking the victim on her left forearm causing contusions. The defendant was arraigned at the Gouverneur Town Court and released under the supervision of probation. A no contact order of protection was placed.

Arrested at 12:02 PM for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 3rd, Uninspected Motor Vehicle, Unsafe Tires, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th, and Controlled Prescription in Non-Original Container. Defendant observed to be operating a Blue Nissan Altima traveling east on East Main Street with an expired New York State inspection sticker. Further investigation revealed that the defendant had a revoked New York state driver's license. The defendant was then found to be possession of five glassine envelopes which contained a white substance which field tested positive for fentanyl. Defendant was issued appearance tickets with a Gouverneur Town Court date.

Arrested at 5:05 for 2 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th, and one count of Controlled Prescription in Non-Original Container. The defendant was found to be possession of one glassine envelope which contained a white substance which field tested positive for fentanyl. The defendant was also found to be in possession of a single amphetamine and dextroamphetamine pill without its original container. Defendant was issued appearance tickets with a Gouverneur Town Court date.

During a vehicle stop on said vehicle on the Country Club Road in Fowler the defendant was found to be in possession of a crystal like substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine. Defendant was arraigned at the Fowler Town Court and Judge Knowlton set $5000 cash / $10000 bond with a return Fowler Town Court date. Defendant was transported to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility.

Arrested at 9:22 PM for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance (Stimulant) in the 4th Degree-C Felony, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 2nd Degree, Failure to Keep Right. Defendant was driving a black 2016 Ford Escape west on River Drive in Fowler. Defendant failed to keep right of way on the road. Defendant was then found to have a revoked New York driver's license with 10 suspensions on 4 dates. Defendant was then found to be in possession of a crystal like substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine. Further search of the vehicle resulted in more crystal like substance the field tested positive for methamphetamine that weighed over one gram. Defendant also had a St. Lawrence County Court bench warrant. Defendant was arraigned at the Fowler Town Court before Judge Knowlton and held on the bench warrant. Defendant was transported to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility.

Defendant was then found to be in possession of a crystal likes substance the field tested positive for methamphetamine that was over 1 gram in weight. Defendant was arraigned at the Fowler Town Court before Judge Knowlton and released on own recognizance with a return Fowler Town Court date.

Arrested at 1:48 PM for Criminal Mischief 4th -intent to damage, Criminal Mischief 4th- Prevent an Emergency Call, and Resisting Arrest. During a domestic the defendant did prevent the victim from calling the police by throwing her black Samsung cell phone against the wall causing said phone to shatter and to be inoperable. The defendant then resisted arrested by fleeing on foot from Gouverneur Police Officers. The defendant was arraigned at the Gouverneur Town Court and released with a return court date. A no harassment order of protection was issued for the victim.
