OGDENSBURG — The Frederic Remington Art Museum is launching a spring membership drive.
The revised membership program was approved by the Board of Trustees April 24 and provides revised membership levels and benefits. This new program is fully outlined on the museum’s website, www.fredericremington.org, and in the new membership brochure.
The Board of Trustees is challenging themselves to recruit at least 10 new members each and also challenging other groups, such as the Remington Foundation Board, according to a press release from the museum.
The museum will promote membership during the campaign with a hashtag campaign on social media, #Remingtonmember, and a grassroots effort to have members recruit others to join them.
The membership drive culminates July 24 with a grand member benefit, an invitation to a new annual party at the museum, the Remington Reunion Celebration. The event, held 5-7 p.m. on the 24th, is open to members and donors at $35 per person, and their guests at $40. The hors d’oeuvre reception, which includes wine and beer, will be catered by the Grand View.
The museum currently has 424 members.
