HEUVELTON – Doug’s Tavern Rabbit Derby will be held March 11. Entry time is 2-4 p.m. No Weigh-In/No Registration Derby Day. Must be present to win.
There will be a cottontail and snowshoe division. Only one rabbit per division is needed. More than one prize can be won. A kid’s lifetime hunting license will be given as a prize.
Pre-register at Doug’s Tavern in Heuvelton, Bradley’s Service in Ogdensburg, Gray’s Gun Shop in Lisbon, or Waddington True Value.
Any youth who wins a gun must have an adult claim the prize and complete registration for the youth.
The derby is in memory of Cody Holland, with funds used on his behalf for a lifetime fishing license as a prize to a lucky youth in the derby.
