​​POTSDAM -- Two Waddington residents were charged with felony drug possession Thursday following a traffic stop on Madrid Avenue, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff's deputies.

Deputies seize 6 ounces of cocaine in Potsdam; Waddington pair jailed

​​POTSDAM -- Two Waddington residents were charged with felony drug possession Thursday following a traffic stop on Madrid Avenue, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff's deputies.

Deputies said they charged 51-year old Kenneth Williams and 37-year old Kaylie Collins with second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance: Four ounces or more and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance: Intent to sell, both felonies.

The pair were allegedly in possession of about 175 grams (6.1 ounces) of cocaine during a traffic stop, officers said.

Both subjects were remanded to St. Lawrence County jail without bail, deputies said.
