CANTON -- Democratic candidates for open Canton village board seats will hold three meet-and-greet receptions ahead of the Tuesday, Nov. 5 election.
The campaign events are scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 17, 5:30-7 p.m., at Sylvia’s Lounge and Eatery, 25 Main St.; Thursday, Oct. 24, 5:30-7 p.m., at the Buccaneer Lounge, 4 W. Main St.; and 24 East Main Bed & Breakfast, 24 E. Main St. from 2:30 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 27.
All events are open to the public.
Running for trustee are Carol Pynchon and Anna Sorensen. Pynchon, an incumbent who also serves as deputy mayor, is seeking her fourth term. Sorensen, is running for her first term.
Everyone is invited to bring their ideas and questions for the candidates.
