DeKalb 250th anniversary celebration

DEKALB — Town of DeKalb 250th anniversary with music, food and family activities at Pipeline Park on Gibbons St.; 3 to 7 p.m.; features live music by Hermon-DeKalb alumnus Ronnie Simser, to perform from 4 to 6 p.m. Local vendors also will be on site. DeKalb Historical Society to read Declaration of Independence at 3:30 p.m., followed by national anthem by Ally Deleel. Activities include a bounce house provided by the Hermon Fire Department. Food provided by the Olde DeKalb Hotel and pizza and ice cream provided by PTS Market. Attendees should bring a chair.
