MASSENA – David G. VanAtter, 77, of County Route 43, passed away early Saturday morning, January 20, 2024, at Mercy Living Center in Tupper Lake.
David was born on May 31, 1946, in Watertown, the son of the late Howard F. and Lena (Dygert) VanAtter.
David lived and worked for a time in Syracuse before moving back to the North Country, where he started working for P&C Foods in Potsdam.
He was an avid fan of the Syracuse Orangemen, New York Giants, and New York Yankees.
David is survived by his brother, Bruce of Massena; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Carl, Dale, and Donald.
Arrangements are under the care and guidance of the Donaldson Funeral Home, Massena, however, there will be no services.
