MASSENA -- Another dining mainstay has closed in Massena.
Just a few weeks after the announcement that Spanky's diner had closed its doors for the final time, CT's Chicken & Fish has also closed up shop.
The news broke on CT's Facebook page today, Jan. 19, with staff and owners thanking customers, friends and family for supporting the business for so many years.
"We are truly grateful for each one of you! Unfortunately the time has come where we have to permanently close our doors," they wrote.
The post continued, stating the bar would no longer be open effective immediately.
"To all of our Friends who have kept us open, and helped our business in so many ways, we couldn't thank you enough," they wrote.
East Orvis Street also recently lost Laneuville's Beverage Center, which closed on Dec. 31, 2025.
The store, which offered beer and grocery sales, had operated at the location for 43 years.
Though the Beverage Center has closed, the Bottle & Can Retrieval Center was sold years ago and remains in operation.
