OGDENSBURG— Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center is set to receive over $18.2 million for its capital improvement campaign through a state award.
The money is part of a nearly $300 million block of new state funding aimed at expanding access to inpatient, primary, behavioral health and long-term care services.
Claxton-Hepburn’s capital improvement plan will modernize and relocate its maternity services and reconfigure surgical services from three floors to two.
“By supporting providers that serve vulnerable and underserved populations, we’re strengthening the foundation of our health care system and building a healthier future for all,” Governor Kathy Hochul said.
