Cinema 10: Sirat

POTSDAM -- Cinema 10 will screen Sirat / Sirât (Spain/France, 2025, d. Oliver Laxe, Spanish/French/English/Arabic), 115 min R, on April 27. When Mar goes missing after attending a Moroccan rave, it’s up to her father and brother to track her down. While the search for her seems endless, the pair find hope when they tag along with a group of ravers headed to one last desert dance party. Released to nearly universal acclaim, Sirat is an emotional powerhouse that Jessica Kiang of Variety called a "brilliantly bizarre, cult-ready vision of human psychology tested to its limits." Films are shown on Monday evenings at 7:15 p.m. in the Roxy Theater in Potsdam. Tickets are $6.50 general/$55 season or $5.50 student/senior/$45 season (season tickets are sharable).
