ST. REGIS FALLS -- A charity basketball game will pit St. Regis Falls varsity basketball teams against North Country Firefighters For a Cure on Saturday, April 8 at 7 p.m.
The game will take place at the St. Regis Falls Central School gym.
The firefighters group formed three years ago as a small a small group of firefighters from a few neighboring fire departments that wanted to walk in a local American Cancer Society ‘Relay for Life’.
“With the loss of so many loved ones and the dramatic increase of firefighter deaths due to the tragic disease of cancer, we wanted to do what we could to help,” a press release said.
Admission is $2 and kids under age 12 are admitted for free.
All proceeds support the St. Regis Falls Boosters and The North Country Firefighters For a Cure.
