CANTON – Memorial Day ceremonies in Canton took place at three venues on Monday.
The day’s events initiated at St. Mary’s Cemetery then proceeded to the Main Street Bridge where a ceremonial wreath was tossed into the Grasse River in memory of fallen veterans. The morning’s ceremony concluded at the Canton Village Park.
The day’s events were coordinated and sponsored by Edward C. Seymour Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1231.
