Many thanks to each and everyone who attended or supported the Canton Senior Citizen Spring Bazaar making it another successful year.

Congratulations to Lottery Tree winner Michelle Collins; 50/50 drawing Stan Smith; Raffle winners Marty Wood (one night stay at Hampton Inn; Bertnard Moulton ($50 Stewarts gas card); Scott Coleman ($50 meal at Best Western); Martha Halpin ($50 Price Chopper grocery card); Peg Beaudin (NC Savings Bank fold up lawn chair); amd door prize winners Janet Butler ($25 Lobster House gift card); Pat Barbalich (1 qt. Hurlbut’s maple syrup); Joyce James (1 free car wash/wax at Scott’s Auto, Potsdam); along with 81 Silent Auction winners.

Special thanks to Hampton Inn, Stewarts, Best Western and North Country Savings Bank for your donations to our raffle drawing and to Lobster House, Art and Diane Hurlbut, and Larry Martin for your donations to the door prizes. We appreciate your thoughtfulness.

Special thanks also to Pepsi Co. (soda and water), Myrtle Regan (rolls), Walmart (hot dogs), Gail Bisonette (Glazier hot dogs), Pastor Fred Sykes, First Baptist Church (use of tables), Art Hurlbut (transporting tables), Clifford and Michael Young (helping with tables), and several club members for their homemade donuts, apple pies, chili and soup.

A special thank you to Mary and Phil Shatraw, Arvilla Aldous for your willingness to take charge of the Silent Auction this year. A “Fantastic Job!”

A big thank you to all the businesses and people for their generous support of donations to our Silent Auction. People look forward to this each year making it a “big hit.” We were truly blessed also with generous monetary gifts to the Bazaar. With our depressing economy, we are truly appreciative.

We greatly thank Community Bank, North Country Savings Bank, Kinneys, and Mountain Mart for allowing the seniors to sell tickets for our drawings at your businesses. Special thanks also to club members who took time to sell tickets on their own.

Paul Mitchell and Tom Graser, again this year, we are forever thankful for your continuous great support and caring in getting the word out to the public.

Sincere thanks to my very “Special Senior Club Members.” Again this year, I feel blessed and so very thankful for your continuous loyal support, hard work, and dedication that makes the bazaar a huge success. You all contribute in many ways.

It’s all deeply appreciated.
