CANTON – Canton Elementary School is now accepting registrations for its pre-kindergarten program.
To be eligible, students must be 4 years old before Dec. 1, and be a resident of the Canton Central School district.
Registrations for the morning and afternoon session will be accepted until May 1, 2019.
Families are welcome to note a morning or afternoon preference on the enrollment form. However, please be aware for equity purposes that a lottery will be utilized if requests for the morning session outnumber the space available.
Registration after May 1 will be dependent on availability.
Pre-k home-visits by staff members will be completed during the month of July. The visits will be about 15-20 minutes, and the pre-k staff members assured parents not to feel any pressure to prepare for the visits. Visits can be conducted on the porch or front lawn.
For more information, call the pre-k coordinator Kelley Glasgow at 315-386-8561 ext. 1400.
