Bradley S. Harmer, 58, Fowler

FOWLER – Bradley S. Harmer, age 58, of Fowler, passed away on April 15, 2024, at Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center in Ogdensburg shortly after being diagnosed with Esophageal cancer.

There will be a graveside service held at Pleasant View Cemetery in Clare on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life at the DeGrasse Fire Hall.

Brad was born on June 22, 1965, in Gouverneur to Harry Harmer and the late Shelby (Morrow) Harmer. Brad married Amy J. Peabody on July 28, 2001.

Brad worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for Harmer Construction, Acts II Construction and Strock Contracting for many years.

He also worked many side jobs for various people. When he wasn’t working, Brad could be found in his garage.

He enjoyed working on cars, watching his nephew, Sid Harmer, Jr. race, and having fun.

Everyone that knew Brad has a story about him and some of the legendary things he’s done. He is a Traumatic Brain Injury Survivor who never gave up doing what he loved.

He is survived by his wife, Amy Harmer, his father, Harry (Charina) Harmer, four sons, James "Jim" Harmer, Ryan Meilleur, Brett Peabody, and Cooper Harmer and his significant other, Adrienne Carr. He is also survived by siblings, Harry “Joe” (Sherry) Harmer Jr, Kate (Vern) Harmer-Davison, Sid (Shelby) Harmer, David (Carolina) Harmer, and Michelle Harmer, 3 grandsons, Blake, Laeton, Gabriel, and several nieces and nephews.
