POTSDAM -- The Scholastic Art Awards of Central New York Regional Art Show featuring award winning artwork by students in grades 7-12 opens at the Potsdam Town Hall, 18 Elm St., Friday, March 16, from 5-7 p.m.
The exhibit was organized by SLC Arts in partnership with the North Country Art Teachers’ Association (NCATA). The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards are an annual, national competition; local students from St. Lawrence County compete as part of the Central New York Art Region in Syracuse, NY.
This is the third year SLC Arts has displayed the award winning artwork closer to home following the display in Syracuse.

The exhibit will be on display at the SLC Arts Gallery through April 13. The exhibit and opening are free and open to everyone, and wheelchair accessible.
