CANTON -- The St. Lawrence Valley Dog Club will be hosting an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluation at 10:30 am on Saturday, May 14 at Canton Free Library, 6 Park St. To earn a CGC certificate, a dog must pass 10 testing criteria.
Some insurance companies which would otherwise restrict a homeowner’s coverage for those who own certain breeds of dogs may give special consideration to dogs who have earned a CGC certification. Cost is $15 per dog.
