The six Northern TRIBS swimmers set some of their best times at the recent Adirondack Silver Short Course Championships at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy.
• Caera Stone, Girls 9-10 - 50 Back, 2nd (out of 91)
• Maddy Bascom, Girls 9-10 - 50 Breast, 67th (out of 75)
• Jacob Anderson, Boys 9-10 - 50 Back, 8th (out of 36)
• Breanna Anderson, Girls 11-12 - 100 Back, 3rd (out of 70)
• Elizabeth Bascom, Girls 11-12 - 50 Breast, 27th (out of 90)
• Martin Stone, Boys 13-14 - 50 Free, 5th (out of 35)
Two club members set new club records: Jacob Anderson, Boys 9-10 - 100 Free (1:26.63), 50 Back (46.54) & 100 Back (1:37.66); Martin Stone, Boys 13-14 - 50 Free (27.84), 100 Free (1:01.63), 100 Back (1:15.05), 100 Breast (1:31.87), 100 Fly (1:17.38), & 200 Fly (2:57.50).
Finishing up the short course season, five club members have qualified for the Adirondack Gold Short Course Championships on March 15-17. They are Angelina Domena, Bella Jaskowski, Breanna Anderson, Caera Stone and Julia Domena.
Over the short course season, all 30 club members have made significant improvements, reaching seasonal goals and setting personal best times, according to Jenna Stone of the TRIBS Parent Group.
