POTSDAM -- SUNY Potsdam's newest graduate program will prepare teachers to become administrators in public school settings, through the College's new Certificate of Advanced Study in educational leadership.

The advanced certificate program in educational leadership is a partnership with SUNY Plattsburgh, and successful completion will lead to certification as a school building leader (SBL) and school district leader (SDL). The curriculum is a hybrid of flexible online and summer campus learning experiences, along with professional internships geared to successful completion of New York State School Leadership Assessments. Full- and part-time study options are available, all designed to fit into practicing educators' busy schedules.

Teachers who complete the requirements will be eligible for promotion to leadership within their school district or another- and will be prepared to guide meaningful engagement that builds connections, fuels productivity and generates positive change. Full and part-time study options are available.
