POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Village Board of Trustees approved annual salaries for several village employees at the regular board meeting held May 18 on Facebook Live.
The salaries will take effect at the first pay period following the start of the village's fiscal year on June 1. The village board approved its annual budget which includes the salaries last month.
The salaries approved include:
• Recreation director, $54,217
• Village administrator, $79,230
• Police chief, $87,390
• Village clerk/treasurer, $70,984
• Director of Planning & Development, $76,480
• Museum curator, $44,227
• Superintendent of DPW, $72,526
• Code enforcement officer, $49,550.
