CANTON -- As St. Lawrence County enters into Phase 1 of reopening, the Office for the Aging strongly urges older adults to continue practicing social distancing; as this practice remains an executive order from the Governor’s office.
While certain areas of businesses are able to reopen under Phase 1, everyone should still stay home as much as possible and socialize with household members only.
Non-essential gatherings of any size are still not allowed such as picnics, birthday parties, weddings, dinners, etc.
Continue to wear face masks in public, wash hands frequently and continue to practice social distancing.
If any older adults are in need of food or other services, call the office at 315-386-4730.
