MASSENA -- The Board of Education's Facilities Committee is considering allowing high school seniors to pay for a personal parking spot and decorate it for their last year of school.

"All the nuances of that are being vetted through the administration," committee chair Kevin Perretta said.

"It would be a set part of the parking lot, and they'd pay for a space and decorate it with their families and that would be their space just during the school day hours," Superintendent Pat Brady said.

He added that the aim is to make the seniors "more connected to the school."

The item was brought up for discussion at their Thursday, March 19 meeting with no formal action taken.
