MASSENA — Two Massena residents are facing multiple felony drug charges following the execution of a search warrant on a Maple St. residence on March 3.
The street value of the seized heroin is approximately $8,000, police say.
Both were charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class B felony, third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance- intent to sell, a class B felony, third-degree tampering with physical evidence, a class E felony and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a class A misdemeanor.
Jacobs was arraigned in Massena Village Court and released to another law enforcement agency for a different charge in their court. Due to New York State Bail Reform, if Jacobs is not held by the other court, he will be held by Massena Village Court on $1.00 cash bail, police say.[img_assist|nid=315920|title=|desc=|link=none|align=right|width=150|height=188]
Massena PD were assisted by the St. Lawrence County Drug Task Force, Ogdensburg PD, Potsdam PD, Canton PD, the New York State Police, Homeland Security Investigations and the St. Lawrence County District Attorney’s Office.
LaRock was arraigned in Massena Village Court and remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility with no bail, police say.
No further details will be released at this time, police say.
