MASSENA -- The Town Council and Massena Memorial Hospital Board of Managers are holding two upcoming special meetings.
The MMH board is planning to meet tonight, Tuesday, Feb. 5 at 5 p.m. in the MMH board room. Their Nominating Committee will present recommendations for board chair and secretary. Their former chair, Sue Bellor, was fired by Town Supervisor Steve O’Shaughnessy last month. Their former secretary, Tina Buckley, recently resigned for unclear reasons.
The Town Council and MMH board will meet Wednesday night during a special town meeting. The meeting starts at 5 p.m. with a presentation and public hearings scheduled for 5:30 and 5:40 p.m. The town-hospital meeting is listed on the agenda immediately after.
