County public health officials warn of possible COVID exposure at Massena, O'burg businesses

 St. Lawrence County Public Health warns of a potential COVID-19 exposure at businesses in Massena and Ogdensburg recently.

People who were at Softails Saloon 273 East Orvis St., Massena from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31 may have been exposed to the virus.

Officials said people could have been exposed to COVID at Smuggler’s Café, 54 East River St., Ogdensburg, from 5:50 to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 5.

Officials say anyone who was at either of the businesses during those times should be tested for COVID-19 and closely monitor how they feel, including taking their temperature twice a day for 14 days.

Call your healthcare provider for further guidance if you develop the following symptoms: fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscles or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, and diarrhea. Tell your provider that you may have been exposed to COVID-19.
