HANNAWA FALLS — Hannawa Falls Fire Department held their annual banquet night October 14 with around 70 people in attendance.
The event was a “good night of fun and little comedy from the chief,” a release on the FD website said.
This year, Tyler Comins was named fireman of the year for his dedication, officials said.
Laurie Hance received a service award for more than 15 years of service as treasurer.
Dereck Sagriff received the chief award and his past chief badge.
“We would also like to thank Pierrepont and Potsdam Fire for standing by us,” officials said. “Also Doug Lavigne from Norfolk for preparing our meal.”
