Katherine Apt and Caroline Reilly both posted dominating singles wins and combined for a win at second doubles to lead the St. Lawrence University women's tennis team to a 7-2 win over William Smith in a Liberty League match at Newell Field House on Saturday afternoon.
Apt and Rielly started the day with an 8-1 win in their doubles match, and Apt dispatched her opponent at No. 3 singles 6-0, 6-2, while Reilly didn't lose a game in her win at No. 4 singles.
The Saints improved to 4-1 in Liberty League play and remain in third place in the conference standings.
Seniors Lia Petersen and Emily Wyman will play the final home match of their career on Sunday against Union at 1 p.m.
