MALONE — A Brasher Falls man has been charged by State police with petit larceny.
Police say Zachary S. Anderson, 34, was charged for an incident that occurred on June 24 at Wal Mart in Malone.
According to police, an investigation determined Anderson allegedly stole $290.83 worth of merchandise after passing through all points of purchase without paying. Anderson allegedly fled the scene, police say.
Police say on June 25 troopers once again responded to the same Wal Mart for another larceny complaint involved Anderson, this time after he allegedly stole merchandise valued at $839.10, once again fleeing the scene.
Police say they later located Anderson, arrested him and processed him at SP Malone. Anderson was issued appearance tickets returnable to Town of Malone Court for a later date in July.
