To the Editor:
What a wonderful show of community support. On Friday, June 11, the Norwood American Legion Post 68 hosted a free meal for all employees of Norwood-Norfolk CSD. Through the organizational efforts of Bob Haggett and financing from Mike Knowlton and Glenn Webster, our employees enjoyed a delicious chicken barbecue.
The special meal was provided as a way to say “Thank you” for all that the school employees have done to support our children and families during this most difficult time.
This act of gratitude was appreciated by all and demonstrates a true love of community. We are proud to serve the community and sincerely thank all those involved in making it happen.
