‘Wild Edibles’ exhibition
CANTON: Photographer Jimmy Fike will give a lecture at an opening reception for “Photographic Survey of the Wild Edible Botanicals of the North American Continent: Plates in Which the Edible Parts of the Specimen Have Been Illustrated in Color,” 4:30 p.m. in St. Lawrence University’s Griffiths Arts Center, Room 123; exhibit runs from March 2-April 11; free, open to public.
Auditions held
OGDENSBURG: Audition will be held for the Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT) production of “The Tortoise Versus The Hare,” 3-5 p.m., in the cafeteria at Ogdensburg Free Academy; those auditioning should arrive by 3 p.m. and plan to stay for the full two hours; most of the cast members will be asked to stay for rehearsal immediately following the audition; 315-393-2625.
Harvest Moon meeting
OGDENSBURG: Harvest Moon organizational meeting, 5:15 p.m., in Building 311, next door to the Frederic Remington Art Museum; now in its fifth year, the Frederic Remington Art Museum’s popular fall fundraising event, Harvest Moon, will be held Saturday, Sept. 26, from 7-11 p.m. at the museum, 303 Washington St.; 393-2425.
